Ever since a textile-designer friend of mine told me how to prepare a pattern using a design program I have been experimenting with them for fun. I love the way that you can take a group of images that share a theme, that blend in with each other, and because of this introducing comical elements that are disguised and can only be seen when looking at the image closely.
